More sites will be added in the future, stay tuned for updates
Care Park New Zealand is undergoing an exciting phase of expansion and adaptation, responding to the shifting work and commuting trends in the country. As more individuals work from home and plan mid-week city visits, the demand for flexible and convenient parking is on the rise, and Care Park NZ is stepping up to meet these needs.
Welcoming Elyce Davies
One of the standout developments in this growth phase is the addition of Elyce Davies as the National Parking Services Manager and Executive Administrator to Archie. Elyce brings valuable experience in compliance and office management, and her expertise will be critical, particularly in supporting key sites like Sky City and Wellington Hospital. Elyce will also be instrumental in helping Care Park NZ achieve its goal of SAI Global accreditation, further solidifying the company’s commitment to excellence.
New Car Park at Newtown
In Newtown, Wellington, a new 221-space car park is coming to 194 Adelaide Road, conveniently located across from Wellington and Southern Cross Hospitals. With this development, Care Park will significantly enhance parking options for hospital visitors and the local community, meeting a growing need for accessible and well-located parking in the area.
Expansion in Wellington
Care Park’s presence in Wellington is expanding with multiple initiatives. The company is upgrading parking technology at Wellington Hospital, ensuring a smoother, more efficient experience for users. Additionally, the final stages of adding three new hospital sites—Kenepuru Hospital, Lower Hutt Hospital, and Ratonga Rua O Porirua—are nearing completion, further extending Care Park’s reach in supporting essential healthcare facilities.
The company is also introducing two new car parks in the city: a 25-space facility at Athol Crescent and a 21-space lot on Victoria Street. Both sites will provide much-needed parking options for the city’s residents and visitors.
Otago University and Wellington Hospital Collaboration
Care Park is proud to be working with Otago University at Wellington Hospital, adding 30 new parking spaces to accommodate students, staff, and visitors. This partnership underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing access in key educational and medical hubs.
Upgrades in Palmerston North
Beyond Wellington, Care Park is also focusing on Palmerston North, where they are working with Massey University to upgrade parking technology. This project will provide an improved parking experience for the university community, supporting both students and staff with modern, efficient solutions.
With these expansions and technological upgrades, Care Park NZ is positioning itself as a leader in New Zealand’s parking industry, adapting to changing needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across the country. The company’s growth, driven by new leadership and continued partnerships with major institutions, marks an exciting chapter in Care Park’s ongoing success.
