There are plenty of great activities across the city including the popular International Comedy Festival.

Queen Victoria Market: From 8 – 20 April, the Queen Victoria Market is home to cooking classes, Easter egg hunts and even the Easter Bunny will make the market home for a while. You will need to pre-book their spot in a cooking workshop. They can learn to make everything from sushi rolls to mini banh mi and fruit bunnies. How a about collecting a kids’ passport and set off on a scavenger hunt to collect stamps from local traders.
Hawker 88 Night Market: From 12 April to 10 May the delicious night Hawker 88 market returns for five weeks of foodie fun, with a different theme each Wednesday night. Start with all your fave Asian snacks, then go deep on durian at the Malaysian night, try the best treats from Korea and Japan, plus heaps more.
NGV Architecture Commission: Temple of Boom is an epic, evocative reimagining of The Parthenon erected in the NGV courtyard. It features overlapping artworks by Melbourne-based artists. It’s free to visit, or book into NGV Friday nights and see the space play host to a stacked program of live performances.

The Whispering Wall of the Barossa Reservoir was buiilt between 1899 and 1903. The dam was a revolutionary engineering feat for its day and attracted attention from all over the world, even making its way into the pages of the journal Scientific American. But what draws visitors to the Whispering Wall is its unique acoustic effects. Words whispered at one side can be clearly heard at the other, more than 100 metres away. Children love visiting the wall and testing its abilities.
